This qualification is suitable for all persons and will provide an understanding of safeguarding which can be used in a workplace, activity group or any instance where a person comes into contact with children or adults at risk. The qualification provides learners with the knowledge to identify a safeguarding concern, listen and appropriately record a disclosure, and report to the appropriate person.
2 hours distance learning or 4 hours classroom based learning
This safeguarding qualification provides those working with children and young people the knowledge on how to recognise and respond to cases of alleged or suspected abuse. This is a qualification that indicate an individual can undertake a specific role in the workplace and that may be relied upon by employers.
6 hours classroom based learning
The purpose of this qualification is for candidates to understand the key principles of safeguarding adults. The qualification is aimed at those working in the health and social care sector. The qualification has been mapped against standard 10 of the Care Certificate.
6 hours classroom based learning
This qualification is designed for learners who have contact with children, young people or vulnerable adults in their working environment including voluntary work. It promotes awareness and sensitivity to safeguarding enabling learners to be able to identify issues and emphasises the responsibility to ensure that concerns are reported and acted on appropriately.
